About Us
The Bear Creek Chronicle is the only bi-monthly free newspaper delivered by the U.S. Post Office to all 1854 homes in Bear Creek, LaCresta, LaCresta Highlands, Santa Rosa West, Tenaja and Meadow Oaks. Total press run is 4000 copies; additional copies are distributed to high traffic locations.
Published by Roland Behny and Marilyn Spooner, the Bear Creek Chronicle endeavors to cover social activities, reviews of local restaurants, information from the 11 separate management
associations, news of the Bear Creek Golf Club, travel reviews written by your neighbors, movie reviews, health and beauty, humor, church news, biographical stories about prominent citizens in our communities, an opinion page and even historical information about Murrieta. (Who was Clinton Keith?)
According to Publisher Behny, the Bear Creek Chronicle is an interesting read and a wonderful source of information about our area. Most of the articles are written by your friends and neighbors right here in your neighborhoods. (That means readership is very high.)
There is a free Bulletin Board page for all area residents — on a first come first served basis because of space limitations.
The Bear Creek Chronicle offers display advertising opportunities for those advertisers who want to reach area homeowners with an important message...at very reasonable rates. We estimate 8000 readers for each issue.
We look forward to serving you and we hope you like the Bear Creek Chronicle, published and printed for our friends and neighbors here in our communities, and remember, most of it will be written by people who live here.
